Seville is known for its ability to grow with little sunlight.  Its a semi dwarf grass commonly used in Southwest Florida.
This grass takes less mowing than most grasses as it tends to grow in a compact horizontal manner.  Although this is known as the best shade St. Augustine grasses it should be noted that Seville does very well in full sun too and handles the cold snaps without a problem.
